I've been here for some very good and moving poetry. The Coffee house itself is good as well. The poetry seems to be seasonal; Performers usually bring newer and better stuff around the winter time. just the talent of the many poets that slam at the essenza coffee house stand as an intrigue of its own and worth the time to check out, and also the longest running poetry slam in Arizona. the 1st and 3rd thursday of every month with the Klute, dont be shy and come out. free to get in, $1 to slam. - Averian , posted 09/30/05 |
