Our Second Urban Arts In The Park Approaches....Oct 28th,07..!!!! Greetings to all our friends aka family....!!! The Women Living With Purpose have been busy all summer getting organized, and becoming an official non-profit organization! Now we are full of inspiration and ready to take action..! The weather is getting cooler again, and we could not resist throwing together another Urban Arts before the year is over! Over 300 people showed up throughout the day for our Earth Day celebration, and we were able to raise $1200 for the Environmental Fund For Arizona, which is a conglomerate of environmental non-profits all working together to solve local issues. Check them out at efaz.org This time our event will be a Halloween theme (costumes optional) and will take place on Oct. 28th, Sunday, 1pm-9pm. It will be at the same location at Papago Park, and this time we have reserved an extra ramada! We will have music performances, dance performances, djs, kid's activity area, bbq, organic veggies for the vegetarians, kegs for 21 and over, live art, live graffiti art, art display, and information booths..... We will be raising money for Stand Up For Kids and Project Safeplace to benefit our homeless youth.....please come support....!!! Our first event went above and beyond any expectations we could imagine, and the amount of support and love and appreciation we received from each and every person that attended, further gave us the knowledge that integrity, dignity, and intelligence is the foundation of our underground culture.......lets continue to show the rest of the world what our community can do.....!!!
